Bug Description

When a user clicks a component to open the dropdown, then scrolls the page so that the moves out of the viewport and scrolls back, the dropdown disappears, which negatively impacts the user experience.

Affected Component

Expected Behaviour The dropdown should remain open even if the user scrolls the page, moves the component out of view, and then scrolls back.

Hello colleagues,

The reporter suggests that the popover should not be closed when dropdown goes outside of viewport, however I believe this is by design. Issue can be reproduced here - link

Could you please have a look on your side and decide whether this is an issue or should be proccessed via InnerSource?

This is not specific for the Select, it applies to the popover and all dropdowns.
Maybe the Popover/Dialog team (RD) would know the background @TeodorTaushanov
and
most likely should be redirected to designers.
