Question about meteorological data input for SOLWEIG

I'm trying to run the SOLWEIG model with meteorological data (ERA5) I downloaded elsewhere. Could you share an example of the correct format for this input? I've received a variety of errors and thought it would be easier to ask than do a lot of trial and error.

Hi. You can use the MetdataProcessor found in the menu-based UMEP to transfom into the correct format. Otherwise, have a look in the tutorial data for any of the tutorials. There you can also find a metdataset.

I found this txt file in the tutorial data, which has the properly formatted metdata. It works for me in the SOLWEIG tool.

@sstrumwasser can you point me somewhere to which era5 variables are you downloading and that correspond to fields like kdiff kdir that are in the txt? Because i want to create my own meteorological dataset that make me able tò run the model

We downloaded the data from shinyweatherdata.com and used these column mappings:

dhi is direct horizontal irradiance and dni is direct normal irradiance
