Hi all,
Do you know of any case where the model has been used on farmland (with trees) with no buildings at all? Do you think the model would provide a reliable estimate of mean radiant temperature?

Yes, The model should work fine in non-urban areas also. I know of one current study who is investigating radiant loads on insects in rural landscape.
