How to obtain non-thermal velocity maps

Hello, I was wondering what is the difference between the Doppler velocity maps and the non-thermal velocity maps? and how can I extract the non-velocity maps using the eispac?
Here's an example from this paper in which they used the EIS data

Doppler maps show the magnitude of the line-of-sight velocity. Non-thermal maps show the magnitude of the line width that cannot be explained by instrumental and thermal broadening. Unfortunately, there is no method in EISPAC for computing the non-thermal velocity at present.
