Option to execute a script/program after scraping?

I've made a script to generate thumbnails for new videos that have been scraped and currently I have to manually launch it. Was wondering how hard it'd be to implement an option to execute a program/batch script/etc after scraping is done. A lot of times I scrape before I go to bed and having all the new content generated when I wake up would be a huge quality of life. If this isn't terribly hard to implement (I've never worked with python) if anyone could point me to where I could try and implement it myself I'd appreciate that too.
