Can't change material diameter setting

Reproduction steps

New computer. Downloaded Cura 5.11. It found I have this printer and I want to printer with a Generic PLA and it set the Diameter of the material as 2.85 but it is in fact 1.75. I type in the correct dia and it asks if I want to change the setting and I say yes but it reverts back to 2.85. I looked at some other materials and all are 2.85. I went to change to printer but it won't let me.

be able to change the setting. I could before with an older version of Cura on my Win 10 machine.

Thanks for the report.
I cannot duplicate this behavior with my installation.
When I go to "Settings / Manage Printers / Machine Settings" - I change the filament size on the "Extruder" tab and all the materials change to what is available for 1.75 filament. There is no "...it asks if I want to change the setting...". I've never seen that come up.

Please post a project file or a Technical Support file.
