Type Hinting Units

Is it at all feasible to use the units as types so I can perform type-checking using MyPy?

This is "in progress" upstream: hgrecco/pint#1166. If you're interested, I'd encourage keeping track of progress there.

I'll also add that the use of typing has a long way to go before we embark on using it in MetPy proper. We already have a bunch of decorator stuff making my eyes bleed when parsing our code, I don't want to make it worse with type annotations. 😆
