Infobox not rendering after XML import and visual builder

Happens on Miraheze at least since August 2023, number of wikis which migrated from Fandom have their PI templates not working and showing raw code (tags) instead, despite extension being enabled beforehand. Now another wiki reported same issue after creating infobox with visual builder (Special:InfoboxBuilder), although I couldn't recreate it on Dev Wiki.
An edit is required to make infobox working, sometimes empty re-save helps, but often a proper edit is needed, like adding/changing noinclude content. Cache purge doesn't fix it.

Special:Import doesn't run some hooks. In my experience null-editing (entering the source editor and saving with no changes) resolves imported PI problems.
