Compiler Error: control_mode _MODE_UNINITIALIZED

Hello,

When I add the External Control Program node to my program tree and press Play, I get the following compiler error:

Compiler error: name 'MODE_UNINITIALIZED' is not defined

If I add a script above the node to define MODE_UNINITIALIZED, I get new compiler error:

Compiler error: name 'script_commands' is not defined

Hardware: UR3e

Software: Ubuntu 22.04, PolyscopeX, External Control URCap 1.0.0

Is there a version of the external control ur cap that does not have this error?

Thank you for posting this!

That is not necessarily a problem with the URCapX, as it seems to be doing its job, but the script code if fetched isn't valid. What do you have running on the side that the script code is being fetched from?

@ryantcullen what version of PolyScopeX are you using?

I can reproduce the error using PolyScope 10.7

@ryantcullen please try updating PolyScope to 10.8 or 10.9, I have verified that it works there. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Upgrading to PolyscopeX 10.8.0 fixed the issue. Thank you!
