importing the icons requires different folder

instructions state to put the icons into the same folder as the default icon sets. at least for me it was different.
i use the windows installer and it generates two folders. one for the dafault sets and one for the user sets.
Program Files\GIMP 3\share\icons did not work
%AppData%\Roaming\GIMP\3.0\icons instead was correct

@Amon-san Is your "Program Files\GIMP3\share\icons" listed in your Preferences > Folders > Icon Themes section? (and the folder contains a hicolor folder as well?)
It wouldn't make sense for it not to work since that list of folders are what GIMP should look into for the icon themes at startup. -> Maybe it also requires restart to refresh.

Personally I have the pack in a custom folder not connected to GIMP, so i can just give that path to any GIMP version ever and don't have to move anything. Before that I had it in the installed GIMP folder so I assumed that works fine.

Not sure what to do about this other than suggest the appdata path, but again, all the paths written in the Folders section should work in theory because that's the point of that feature after all. Probably need more testing on that and more input. Glad you got it working though!

Feel free to give feedback! I'm a bit behind with GIMP 3 because of other things. OH! On that.
I'm not sure how appearant it is, but there is a version 2 of the icon pack.

to clarify: it's on a fresh install and both paths were listed in settings by default. only one of them works for additional packs apparently. i've restarted after every time i copied data into these folders. a restart with data in the wrong folder would not make it available. hope that helps.
i don't think there's much more to add to this issue though. so if you think so too, feel free to close it.
