[HL2] Map transition in 'A Red Letter Day' incorrectly triggers Episode 2 state

I cant get achievements from the first Half-Life 2 game because when i try to enter the door right before the metro cop tells Gordon to pick up a can and where it auto saves my screen turns black and teleports me inside the room. if i open the menu it says Half-Life 2 Episode 2 instead of just Half-Life 2. right now i either dont get achievements or i play the legacy version with no mods
