[BUG] Issue Title

Describe the bug
The Steam game Demeo instead of working, just presents a blank screen on SteamVR 2.14.4.
Changing back to the previous version -- 2.12.14 -- makes it work (although this version doesn't have steam link for Linux, so ALVR v20.14.1 was used for the streaming).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start Steam Link on the Meta Quest 3
2. Click on connect to start the SteamVR dashboard in VR
3. Go to the library and choose Demeo
4. Click play
5. You'll see an uninteractive black screen

Expected behavior
Game would start and show images and sounds

This bug report was first filed as a proton report, until I saw that the issue was on SteamVR. Reference: ValveSoftware/Proton#9289

Ok, just performed a new test -- brought SteamVR back to version 2.14.4 and ensure it had in its launch parameters: ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/SteamVR/bin/vrmonitor.sh %command% -- this is necessary for it to work with ALVR, but it stops it from working with Steam Link.
Connected ALVR and everything worked. The game started and was perfectly playable.

So the issue is somewhere in Steam Link.
