Shift key not working when typing non-English text

Hi, thanks for this amazing project—it really helps me in my daily workflow!

I’ve encountered an issue when typing in a non-English language. Specifically, when I’m typing in Hebrew and then try to use the Shift key to type something in English (for example, writing SHA mid-sentence), the Shift functionality doesn’t work as it would on windows.

Steps to reproduce:
Set the keyboard input to Hebrew
Start typing in Hebrew
Without switching input language, hold Shift and type S, H, A.

Nothing appears on screen sadly.

Expected behavior:
Even when typing in a non-English input mode, pressing Shift should still allow uppercase English letters.
