Issue description

Something seems wrong with the way catalyst overlays in mana pools render. They seem to make that area of the pool transparent in a weird way.

This is specifically only an issue with fabulous pools, probably because they need to be rendered dynamically.

I guess in a way this is related to #4740, since an alpha-blended texture's transparency makes a solid render behind it see-through.
