I want to include Vienna RSS in a list of news readers in a help page of a publishing platform which I am working on.

There is probably a misunderstanding: I don't see why Vienna would be related to XMPP.

Rivista is an HTTP gateway for XMPP. It delivers pages as Atom Syndication Format. It will be merged into project Granary https://github.com/snarfed/granary which means, that Nostr is not also related to Vienna RSS, and any other RSS reader, of course.

Now, Rivista is repurposed into a publishing platform with Gemini and HTTP interfaces to publish over XMPP, and all pages, except for one OPML Collection page, are based on Atom Syndication Format, and are transformed to HTML with XSLT stylesheets, with several different XSLT stylesheets for Index and Contact page, etc.

I have further created Slixfeed, which is an automated feed aggregator which is made primarily for XMPP, yet it has Gemini and HTTP interfaces which deliver Atom Syndication Format.

I just checked my Gemini Journal, and I see that there is already a report for supporting Atom Over XMPP. So, this is another potential connection of Viena RSS with XMPP.
