User group/meetups

I've had this idea brewing for a little while. With view_component being fairly fresh, but gaining some traction, I wonder if folks would be interested in a user group? I feel like now's a very good time to introduce it, since patterns for using the library are starting to emerge. @Spone has also suggested the idea of a cookbook for patterns - this would go hand-in-hand with that and help us to understand as a community what kinds of things are idiomatic for view_component. I also like the idea of it being a clinic of sorts, where folks can bring problems that they wish to solve and others can help them by live-coding a solution.

If this were to happen, I expect it'd be a regular video call (perhaps monthly), with user-submitted talks, questions, and other things we can plan out in advance. What do folks think of that?

@boardfish sounds great to me! I've considered doing some sort of "open office hours" where maintainers/committers review open PRs and issues. Perhaps that could be part of it?

Yeah, that sounds like a really great idea. I think I'll take some time in the near future to scope out what this can encompass and bring a more complete proposal your way in the future. In the meantime, folks can use this thread to suggest some more things they'd like to see from it.
