High CPU consumption after adding ViewComponent

We have a rails app running ruby 2.7.2 and rails 5.2. We use webpacker and run on puma locally. In dev environment the ruby processes runs at 90-100% CPU after adding ViewComponent library.

Anyone else encountered this? Not sure what to do about it? Feels hard to trace as the app is idle so there is no requests to investigate?

Without ViewComponents the processes still runs quite high, around 40-45%.
