Nowhere to enter credentials in options screen

Hi I'm completely lost with trying to get this plugin working. Previously used onedrive to sync so made a copy of my vault onto my local drive to play with using github instead. Read the wiki and guides and I think I'm missing something - also looked through the issues and discussions on here. This is what I see in the options screen of the plugin after enabling it:

Shouldn't there be a space for credentials under the "commit author" header? Anyone know what I've done wrong?

I'm using windows 10, and when I tried the xcode install fix mentioned elsewhere my cmd says xcode-select isn't a recognised command so I assume that's mac specific
