Repository Not Recognized After Local Folder Rename — All Git Commands Failing with ENOENT

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue after renaming the local folder that Obsidian-Git points to.

• Initial setup

  • Local folder was originally named hi (it tracks repo-name-example.git).

• What I changed

  • I renamed the folder from hi to repo-name-example using Windows File Explorer’s F2 (i.e., outside of Obsidian).

• Current symptoms

  • Any Git action inside Obsidian-Git (commit, push, etc.) now throws an ENOENT error because the plugin is still looking for the old path hi.

• What I tried

  • Opened the Obsidian-Git settings panel, but couldn’t find any field to update the repository path.

Has anyone solved this before?
Is there a way to tell Obsidian-Git to use the new folder path without cloning the repo again?
