Do changes require reinstall each time?

I periodically make changes to add-ons to my AIOstreams nightly configuration. Is it possible to save changes on a previous configuration online and it applies to all apps (e.g. Stremio) it was attached to? Or do I have to reinstall the new/updated configuration each time?

Only on a couple occasions, e.g. catalogue changes. Since the last feature release or so, aiostreams is telling already when it needs a re-install on save AFAIK.

I skip the manual uninstall, install, paste url, install buttons: when "reloading" with a tool like cinebye

As I tinker I use the circular arrow icon to refresh config. AFAIK this is preferable. The hover tip is labeled reinstall.
