Can we install VC storefront and VC platform on different machine ?

As it requires to bind the cms content folder symbolic link of the storefront with the VC platform cms content link,

I would like to know is it compulsory required that both this application installed on the same machine or is there any way we can

install both these applications on different instances and still create a symbolic link between them?

You could use Azure blob storage for cms-content folder, even if you host not in azure
