Thanks @Gedochao, I had tried on Li Haoyi's discord channel, but got no response. (perhaps my question was not well formed) It' no longer clear where to send the bug or questions anymore. It would help if your doc mentioned the Btw, from my experience of github repos, the adminstrator can always turn a bug report into a question. Let me follow your suggestions before I post a bug on the ammonite gihtub repo linking back to the discussion here. |

I started using ammonite when it came out and really liked how it could make one able to play around with data structures and develop new ideas quickly, eg, to play with RDF frameworks. I then went to study for a few years and am just coming back trying to understand how things are moving with Scala3... Mhh, I think the use case for ammonite I saw was more dynamic. I want to try out working with some data, fetching it from the web perhaps, transforming it, etc... and as you go along doing that you realise that there are libraries you need, so you dynamically import them and continue your work. Later you look at the trace of what you did and turn it into a script you can re-use, or even a jar. That use case would indicate that dynamically importing libs like with Clearly import <https://bblfish.net/scripts/fetch.sc>

To test out specifying the dependencies on the command line, I tried get a really simple script going.

I get that far, but then I would also like to import the test jar
