Ohh hello, I'm new here and just find this app that's seems quite cool for syncing Obsidian local vaults... I'm just simply wondering how to initialize the git repo to my current folder and publish it to private GitHub repo... Thanks!

Huh, that's quite a shame but I guess it's reasonable. This is not full fledged GUI git client for Android, just simply sync to Git repo app. Well since I have the same usage: Syncing Obsidian vault lol.

For actual yet old git client for Android, I've found https://f-droid.org/packages/com.manichord.mgit/

(Edit: changed to F-Droid link since it's said being rejected to access all storage by Play Store for Android 11+)

Totally correct on all counts!

MGit is an amazing app if you need a real git client for Android. It is definitely not the use case that GitSync is attempting to fill :)
