I think we should include an explanation on the difference between analog and digital signals and how this ties in with the pins on the Arduino board.

It should be implemented because

It is a fundamental concept which I think is a valuable addition to the curriculum. Beginners should understand the difference between analog and digital so it can help develop a more intuitive process when being introduced to new components and hardware.
