Token in slug field doesn't work

Hi ! Thank you for your module :)
Sadly in my Drupal 8.4 tokens don't work with your module :(
If my content is Test éà -- ' / and I write [node:title] in the slug field, after saving the slug returned is nodetitle.

The tokens work fine with pathauto. Do you have an idea what could cause this problem ?

I'm not positive yet, this has been working on a couple of 8.4 sites for me, but I'll see if I can reproduce this problem to come up with a solution. Thanks for the report!
