English-English stardict dictionary: Cannot search for many words

Many words one would expect to find in an English dictionary seem to be missing here when using the English-English Wiktionary dictionary stardict.tar.gz files. Link: https://github.com/Vuizur/Wiktionary-Dictionaries/blob/master/English-English%20Wiktionary%20dictionary%20stardict.tar.gz

I'm not sure of the reason for this. Some words work fine, others do not. I was looking in the English-English Wiktionary dictionary.dict.dz file within the file linked above in a text editor and it looks like the definitions for these words are all present, but for some reason the file is not properly searchable.

Example/steps to reproduce:

Search for "alert", "about", "cactus", or "England" within KOReader. Unexpected search results occur. I've included an image of what happens if one searches for "England":
