Simply not displaying any files

Describe the bug

I've just installed it, but whenever I try to view a 3D file (checked for .step, .FCStd and.stl) I get a spinning cube, it never loads.

To Reproduce

Simply installed from within the app store and then tried to double click a 3D file.

I have checked that the files are not corrupted

Yes, I have opened the files in FreeCAD, they all work fine.
