Ruby language : to be built using Clang not GCC/Mingw

I have tried the ruby selection of pengwin-setup.
It took time and i noticed! that it was building using source.

I am working with c++ and ruby. Clang is the solution i felt confident about.

Can pengwin-setup make the change and allow the build process using Clang

Hello @heisarun,

pengwin-setup under the hood uses rbenv to install and configure Ruby. This allows you to install any version and switch between them. pengwin-setup doesn't have control on which rbenv uses to compile.

pengwin-setup installs the recommended build environment for Debian based distros:

apt-get install build-essential autoconf libssl-dev libyaml-dev zlib1g-dev libffi-dev libgmp-dev rustc

After it compiles and configures Ruby you can remove from the above list, the packages that you don't need.
