Getting Started
If you followed the steps in the installation you should have a up and running Advanced Emulator Launcher plugin. Now it is time to configure it.
The first time AEL runs a default configuration will be created automatically.

An empty category called Emulators has been created. Every ROM or standalone launcher in AEL must belong to some category. You can create your emulator launchers inside Emulators or alternatively you can change the name.
You can also see the <Favourites> special launcher.
Virtual launchers <Browse by Title> etc.
Let's suppose you are running Kodibuntu and have installed Retroarch with the bsnes core to run SNES ROMs. In this example we will see how to configure AEL to launch your SNES ROMs.
-
First, create the ROMs directory.
-
Create the thumb/fanart directories.
-
Create the new launcher.
-
Finally, scan you ROMs.
