About the "ruleset" for WordPress Coding Standards used in "block-development-examples"

I think gutenberg is using a specific ruleset for Core development which seems to be less restrictive than the generic WordPress one

• gutenberg uses the WordPress-Core ruleset which are defined here
• block-development-examples uses WordPress ruleset which are defined here
  • WordPress ruleset includes WordPress-Docs and WordPress-Extra rulesets
    • WordPress-Extra ruleset includes WordPress-Core

This seems to be the reason why phpcs is alerting about the following in block-development-examples

All output should be run through an escaping function (see the Security sections in the WordPress Developer Handbooks)

but not in Gutenberg

@ryanwelcher any thoughts?
