There has been a shift in WordPress 6.2 which means we will probably have a meeting with and a meeting without 6.2: https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/C02RQBWTW/p1680011887761119?thread_ts=1680004419.127649&cid=C02RQBWTW |

Would anyone like to add to or change any items on the agenda?
OK, let’s get started with the WordPress Community news.
WordPress Community
:wordpress: ··· WordPress 6.2 Releases ···
The release of WordPress 6.2 has been moved to today due to a revert and, therefore a reset of the 24-hour code freeze. Release Candidate 5 should have fixed it. Release party is scheduled for today at 5PM UTC.
Now is your last opportunity to test it before the general release.
:gutenberg: ··· Phase 3 for Gutenberg ···
With WordPress 6.2, Phase 2 of the Gutenberg project can be finalized. There is some new information from @matias about the next big thing with Gutenberg.
Phase 3 should all be around the collaborative part of working with WordPress and the Gutenberg Editor. Checkout the post to find out more:

:plugins: ··· Call for awareness of Rollback Update Failure and Plugin Dependencies ···
Rollback Update Failure
Plugin Dependencies
Both plugins may be integrated in WordPress 6.3, so maybe it's a good time to check them and make suggestions.
Ok, let’s move on to Hosting Team time.
Hosting Team Time!
☁️ ··· Hosting Community Team channel ···
The Team Reps we've been talking about proposing changing the #hosting-community channel to just #hosting channel. Sounds good to you?
Please vote with a YES ❤️ or NO ☠️.
☁️ ··· Caching with WordPress ···
@jonny Harris reached out to the team yesterday to check about caching mechanisms used by WordPress Hosts. There is already a core ticket (https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/58000#ticket) with the goal to also cover Redis caching in the unit tests. If you're using a object caching mechanism in your infrastructure make sure to check out his post and ticket.

📕 ··· Advanced Administration Handbook ···
WordPress Advanced Administration Handbook
As you may know, Hosting Team is helping Documentation Team to document advanced documentation for helping users at the WordPress.org site.
Currently, everything pending to do is in the Issues part. A lot of "documentation + enhancement" tickets, and also some "documentation + enhancement + good first issue" for the Contributor Day. Remember, there is a page about the Contributor Day in the Handbook.
☁️ ··· Host Test Runners ···
You may have heard of Host Test Results, a community-led project that helps WordPress users find the best hosts for their sites. Host Test Results provides a comprehensive list of hosting providers and detailed information about each host's performance and reliability.
We want to make sure that as many hosts as possible are included in the Host Test Results database, so that WordPress users and the #core team can benefit from this valuable resource. That's why we're asking you to check if your host is already supporting Host Test Results, and to add your own host if it still needs to be included.
To check if your hoster is already supporting Host Test Results, visit the website (https://make.wordpress.org/hosting/test-results/) and search for your host's name. If your host is already included, great! You can use the information provided to make sure that you're getting the best possible performance and reliability from your site.
If your host isn't included, don't worry - you can still help! You can just follow the instructions on the website to add your host to the database. It's quick and easy, and you'll be helping other WordPress users find the best hosts for their sites. However, if your host has not received reports in the last 25 revisions, we encourage you to check back with them.
Thanks for your help in making Host Test Results even more valuable for the WordPress community!
🗓️····· Next events / Contributor Day ·····
