better "player get" command idea

Hi, it would be great to have the following information available somewhere:

Minimum player view distance

Maximum player view distance

Player's current view distance (set in their own minecraft settings)

Player's dynamic view distance ( what the server send to the player )

Player simulation distance ( The actual simulation distance, not from the players minecraft settings )

Minimum simulation distance

Maximum simulation distance

That would help a lot :) !

Absolutely! This is planned for the future. I appreciate your input on what specific information to add. I was planning on making a new command /pvdc info for this so get is reserved for the current only.

As for your suggestions, they sound good mostly. Unfortunately I can't detect the user's local settings, perhaps I will make an optional add-on mod to be installed on the client that could allow for this functionality on the server?

Idk if that can be helpfull but you can use paper api for that instead ( that would be much easier than making a mod )

Paper offer some others related tools ( like get simulation distance )

With that, you can make the plugin send what the player have inside his own local settings ( and that can be used in the dynamic adapdative thing i guess ( sorry for my poor english xd )

Oh wow thanks for the information ! I looked for something like this when I originally made the plugin but couldn't find it... Perhaps it's new. In any case, thank you for drawing my attention to it and I will definitely include this in the information!
