With all the interest around an actively maintained X11 implementation, I think it would be a good idea to have a Wiki as a place where non-coding contributors can contribute information that doesn't lend itself to GitHub issues or Discussions.

For example, I would be interested in maintaining a page that would list the status of XLibre adoption in various Linux distibutions.

For the maintainer: click on "Settings" tab, then in "General/Features" and check "Wikis".

We should probably host our own. GitHub has been known to pull things, and if they do, all of our URLs get broken, and the interface for the new wiki may be entirely different--making the porting of old articles difficult.

As someone who has lost a Wiki hosted by "some guy from the internet" in the past, I'd say GitHub is much more reliable (think long term), and you don't have to sign up for yet another account.

Plus, the GitHub wiki is a git repository itself, so can easily be cloned/mirrored in secondary locations.

Enrico already has the x11libre.org domain, and he's the one leading the charge, so we've already got "some guy from the internet", but I trust him (certainly more than I trust github). Don't really have an opinion on what we use, as long as it's under a x11llibre.org subdomain, so URLs don't break if we have to migrate somewhere else.

Wikis are part of Git repositories, so you can make changes locally and push them to your repository using a Git workflow.
