One distribution that might work well for a testing ground is LFS or Slackware. Slackware is a very back to basics distribution, and usually can harbour new projects well enough. LFS is good because you can create a tarball beforehand of the system and redeploy it as necessary. |

This is a serious bug report, in the style of Ubuntu bug X11Libre/xserver#1, and a message of support, because I want to use XLibre on my computers.
X11 and Wayland hold a majority market share over XLibre. This project aims to fix this bug.
Lack of choice leaves users at the mercy of the software owner and concentrates control of the technology that powers our society in the hands of a few.

A good number of Linux distributions choose to enforce the use of Wayland, regardless of the impact on users and software developers.
