Uplift and split the Liberated Screens into smaller threads

Describe the idea

We should split the Liberated Screens · X11Libre · Discussion #211 into threads of 20 up to 25 screens each. There should be crosslinks between these threads to let the user browse and enjoy all of them. The crosslinks on the old threads should be updated each time a new thread is added.

To split the Liberated screens we should uplift the Liberated screens from X11Libre Show And Tell · Discussions · GitHub category to its own "Liberated Screens" category.

This split should only be done for new threads. The old one should be kept as is but there should also be crosslinks added to switch to the other new threads. By keeping the old thread as is we also ensure the external links to it are kept intact.

We should also create an introductionary thread with an explaination what the Liberated Screens are all about like we have done for e.g. the X11Libre Wiki Pages · Discussions · GitHub. This could be done by just moving the existing explaination from Liberated Screens · X11Libre · Discussion #211 over to the introductionary thread and create a shorter version of the explaination for every subthread.

It should be done because

Right now there is quite a lot of interest in the Liberated Screens and a steady influx of new additions. In total we have 43 screens as of Aug 27, 2025 and 208 replies. This whole thing is also advertised on our social media channels nearly every Friday and so expected to grow in the future.

Unfortunately Github does not allow for paging the current thread and due to the file size of the screenshots it takes longer and longer to load with each new screen added. We have to address this and make the thread (or threads as proposed) load faster.

What are the alternatives?

Keep all the screens in one thread and see it nearly grind to a halt when loading it.

I agree, that page is quite sluggish right now because of the large file size. Also it can help saving bandwidth in mobile phones.
