Roadmap to next release and beyond?

Hi, I made this issue just as a query. Do you have a long-term roadmap for the fork?
E.G.
Code cleanup,
Restructure,
New features,
Feature deprecation,
Etc.

From what I've been able to decipher from the project lead's itinerary these are the goals currently of xlibre:

• Clean up the code base.

• Properly document all APIs within the code to help developers understand what they are working on.

• Patch existing bugs and other problematic code to work correctly.

• Update code that is problematic with modern versions of LLVM.

Getting new features introduced is down the road from what has been discussed, but now that the community of freelancers is back in control of X, via xlibre, work can resume.

Not really. It'd be nice to have an official place for a roadmap to the next version and then a roadmap for the next version after that and a roadmap for each version as we go on I know it's a lot to ask but it adds credibility to the project.

I understand and agree with you completely! We will very soon release a much improved version of our README containing a "roughly speaking" version of the roadmap.

In the next weeks we will turn this into something more concrete to communicate our work and vision as well as to invite people to participate.
