i tried to join and it said host not found in konversation and kiwirc is there something i need to do in particular to join like SSL? |

I don't see the appeal of a password-protected (essentially private) network over existing public networks out there. Granted, the project should probably be wary of sponsors and people involved with one or another network, but is there anything wrong with e.g. libera.chat (ex-freenode)? |

I mentioned this in an issue which I linked below. But as there's already a matrix/telegram I'd like to offer up my IRC as a possible home for X11Libre. IRC has always been a traditional place for open source projects. So feel free to join and discuss below if this is something anyone wants. I know there are other larger IRC networks but I am not sure how well this project would fare on there.
