xray api rmi TAG-NAME does not rest inbound stat

While running

xray api rmi tag-name

removes the active inbound and no longer the xray server listens on that port, but

xray api statsquery

reports the traffic for that inbound that was removed. So the question is this a feature or a bug ?
I know if the server be restarted all stat become 0 , but this is not the case
