So when you are on a long row of table you can glance which event are happening at the same time.

I already have the MVP with 2 different implementation. One is where the mouse state are tracked by the gantt chart component and the offset is passed as props and the other is tracked by it's own component. I wonder which one is preferred to make a pull request? The former is bug-free but my gut feeling is telling me it just doesn't feel right to track the mouse for a feature on the top level component while the latter I still trying to figure out how to get the lifecycle correct for the gantt chart component before tracking the mouse movement inside of it

So the functionality you would like to add is to have a component similar to GGanttCurrentTime that follows the mouse, to have a quick view of parallel events that are present on several rows?

If yes, this is a functionality I had in my TO-DOs and would be much appreciated, especially if accompanied by a tooltip (customisable with a slot) that could summarise them.

The flow I would have followed, the first one I thought of was:

• add a Boolean prop to enable the functionality
• create a component that draws the offset into it
• extend the composable useBarSelector for info.

For your second solution I did not quite understand the problem, perhaps a translation problem.

Yes on the contribution part I have to work on it, I didn't expect contributions right away. I quickly generated a CONTRIBUTING file, but it needs to be revised.

My bad, the wording may be misleading. By documentation I mean contributing/development documentation, not the component itself. For example, I have a few more idea to discuss. Should I open a thread for each one or will you make a "super"-thread to manage all the ideas at one place? So yeah, basically contributors documentation.

Sorry it's getting late here and this is the last for today. I have pushed my best effort MVP to my fork, should I do a pull request or is there anything else needed? And I am very sorry, I don't think I know how to write test for the component.

Sorry for the late response.
Don't worry about the tests, I planned then to increase them soon.
Go ahead with the pull request, after a rebase on the last release (I had to do a quick patch)
