Sometimes when you connect to a remote System is neccessarry to enter a password.
When using a Passwort Manager you often just copy and insert it with the "type" feature.
However, in this moment the passwort is shown in clear text. When doing a screencast or recording this is not really well protected.
Maybe an option to display it like "*" when used.

why not use chrome/edge, enable the automatic clipboard,
then when you copy from your password manager, and click into the window of the remote device,
it will auto copy the clipboard with the password on?

just tried that exact setup here, used edge mac, and bitwarden

should be possible, but then you have the password in the remote "clipboard" and it can be taken by another "person" who is also connected? And in the Logon-Dialog on a Windows-Server this also does not work?

ah yes that is also true!
plus yes the copy+paste doesnt work on the login screen because the is no user/window in a sense!
i would open a issue/enhancement request and explain what you would like and we can look into it!
just thinking an option in the copy+paste window like you suggested 'hide text',
then when typed/etc it will * it but send it correctly :)
