Make GetSmartCardDevice() public in YubiKeyDevice

In my code I call "YubiKeyDevice.FindAll()" to get a list of all Yubikeys. Then I want to select a Yubikey from the list based on the smartcard reader name (e.g "Yubico YubiKey OTP+FIDO+CCID 0") and then call "new PivSession(yubiKeyDevice)" with the selected Yubikey. So it's the "Path" property I'm interested in.

And I haven't found a way to relate an instance of ISmartCardDevice with an instance of IYubiKeyDevice.

Ok. Is there a particular part of the string in the Path you are interested in? If so, why?

Actually the whole string, like "Yubico YubiKey OTP+FIDO+CCID 0".

It seems as if you are wanting to use the smart card reader path in your application.
While it's true we use it internally, I can't help but wonder if there's another way of getting you want you want, since the SDK states that this property is not reliable. It's also quite far away, in terms of levels of abstraction. Exposing smartcard-level details breaks the YubiKey abstraction layer and creates tight coupling with platform-specific implementations.

The team would rather find a different solution to address your need. So can you explain your need precisely? Are you simply trying to differentiate between different YubiKeys?
