Examples or Advice on Known.txt

Curious about any advice or guidelines for using the known.txt. Mostly downloading anime artwork, so looking to organize by series then individual character sub folders. So for example if I'm trying to setup ReZero... would I just type in ReZero/Emilia and add that? What if all of the post information is in Japanese characters how do I get エミリア to also go into an ReZero/Emilia? Other examples would be say ReZero/Crusch Karsten but perhaps the post is listed Karsten Crusch. Or the character Echidna could possibly be listed as the Witch of Greed. Have you considered having a community known.txt that people can update and create here based on as many characters and series different people could think of? Thanks for your time and for making this great tool!

I’ve added support for Korean, Japanese, and Chinese names.

When you check "Separate Folders by Known.txt", it matches the names from your known.txt file to the post title, filename, or both — depending on your settings.
If a character has multiple names, open known.txt and list the names in small brackets, separated by commas, like this example:

(Emilia, エミリア, Lia)
(Crusch Karsten, Karsten Crusch, クルシュ・カルステン)
(Echidna, エキドナ, Witch of Greed)
Rem
(Ram, ラム)
Beatrice
Subaru Natsuki

All post titles that include “Emilia,” “エミリア,” or “Lia” will have their files placed into a folder named “Emilia エミリア Lia.”
Also, if you put “Subaru Natsuki” in known.txt and the title only contains “Subaru,” it won’t match.
To fix this, just use the first name that’s more commonly used — for example, only “Subaru” or if you want to use both: (Subaru, Subaru Natsuki).

The series folder name cannot be created automatically — you’ll need to create it manually and set it as the download location.
If you can tell the creator, I can tell the settings.
Ultimately, it all depends on how the creator names their posts and files — whether they include the character names or not.

I also added a command in the “Filter by Character” input.
If you type [Unknown] (in big brackets), it will create a folder named after the post title and place all files there if no match is found in known.txt.
