Release v7.9.0 — Queue and Proxy Enhancements

Version 7.9.0 introduces significant workflow designed for advanced users. This release enables task batching through a new queue system and provides unrestricted network access via proxy support.

New Feature: Queue Management System

The newly implemented Queue System improves how downloads are organized and executed. Previously, users were required to complete one download before configuring the next. With this update, multiple independent jobs—each with its own configuration—can be prepared in advance and processed sequentially without further user interaction.

Key Capabilities:

• Per-Job Configuration
  Each queued task retains its own settings. For example, a Kemono artist can be queued for download to Folder A with settings for that creator, followed by a Coomer post queued to Folder B with different settings.
• Bulk Queuing
  Within the Creator Selection dialog (🎨), users can select multiple creators and choose Queue Selected to generate individual job entries for all selections simultaneously.
• Automated Sequential Processing
  Once initiated, the queue operates fully autonomously. The application temporarily locks the interface, processes each job in order, and automatically advances to the next task until all queued jobs are completed.

Usage Instructions:

• Configure: Set the desired download path, options, and paste the target URL.
• Add to Queue: Click Add to Queue. A confirmation message will indicate that the job has been successfully saved.
• Repeat: Modify settings and URLs as needed, adding as many jobs as required.
• Execute: Enter start queue into the URL bar and click Execute Queue to begin processing.

New Feature: Proxy Support

This release adds full proxy routing capabilities, currently supported for the following sites: Kemono, Coomer, Nhentai, and DeviantArt. Proxy support will be expanded to additional sites in future updates. This functionality is particularly useful for bypassing ISP restrictions.

  A single checkbox allows the proxy to be enabled or disabled instantly without clearing saved settings.

  The Settings dialog has been restructured into clearly defined tabs: Display, Downloads, Network, and Updates.
• Updated Help Documentation
  The Help & Guide section has been updated to include detailed instructions for the new Queue and Proxy features.

Proxy works good. I'm seeing traffic. Nice work!

It took me a bit to realize how to launch the queue. Had to re-read: "Execute: Enter start queue into the URL bar and click Execute Queue to begin processing." I think I was looking for a button first. I now understand that button will surface after the dialog is entered.
