Contributor Code of Conduct

Welcome to ThinkDSA – an open-source initiative designed to help learners strengthen their data structures and algorithms journey with a clean UI, insightful feedback, and community-driven enhancements.

🌟 Our Pledge

In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we pledge to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of:

  • Age, body size, visible or invisible disability
  • Ethnicity, gender identity and expression
  • Level of experience, education, socio-economic status
  • Nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation

We are committed to maintaining a beginner-friendly, inclusive, and respectful space.

🤝 Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Providing constructive feedback and helpful reviews
  • Gracefully accepting suggestions and corrections
  • Acknowledging beginners and helping them grow

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments
  • Personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others’ private information without consent
  • Disruptive behavior in communication channels

🧭 Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any unacceptable behavior.

Maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that don’t align with this Code of Conduct.

🛠 Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces (e.g., GitHub issues, discussions, pull requests) and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community.

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it to the maintainers directly at itsaryanchauhan1@gmail.com. All reports will be handled confidentially and with respect.
