Zen URL Bar without any Suggestions

Hello, I created an issue (#24) previously. Now @Anoms12 wants me to create a discussion.

Basically, I have disabled everything I can find regarding URL bar suggestions, but my Zen still insists on giving me a list of past websites every time I ctrl+t. So I thought i may have missed a setting or toggle.

In the end, Anoms12 requested me to try "browser.urlbar.suggest.history" but it didn't work. He said it may be under "browser.urlbar.suggest.topsites", so a mod may be required.

I will begin work on your mod in a few, first, what is the desired end goal?

Basically, since I set the suggestions to off in the settings, when I open the URL bar, I don't want to see topsites or history or anything that I visited before. If I enabled autosuggest, it can suggest me search suggests from Google, Duckduckgo etc. whichever I set as my default search engine.

It can even show the history as I start typing if it is related, but at least I don't want to see the topsites directly as I click on the URL bar before even starting typing.

This will hide the topsites. Unfortunately, to be able to further assist you, I will need to see your URL bar text so I can make sure I hide everything designed, if this is not all.

I am not familiar with both of the options. I thought I would play with a setting, config or download a mod at most. Can you describe option 2 please?

@turfandam sine is an external mod manager that increases the mod store functionality. It will make it easy to install any mod made from Zen Help and assist you in anything else for customization. Go to the releases page of https://github.com/CosmoCreeper/Sine and choose the installer (it is a binary, so there is no file extension, this is fine) for your OS, then open it from your file manager (as an admin). Follow the instructions it shows you and restart the browser. If you have any troubles please @ me and I will assist you.
