Scenario

I am using FusionCache in my backend as a consultant within healthcare. It is a basic API hosted on Kubernetes. Redis is also running in the same cluster. We run multiple pods, so we use the backplane to keep these "in sync".

The backplane is a real killer feature in a multi node scenario. Makes it so effortless!

I have seen the issues on backplanes using other technologies than Redis, like this one: #370. Personally I think that is up to the community to create and not your job @jodydonetti. Maintaining N number of backplanes might steal focus away from the core product, but again just a personal opinion (hope I am allowed to have it these days)

The other thing I really like is the docs. Like, seriously, what the hell @jodydonetti?! The docs are AMAZING! An 11/10 in my book. https://docs.microsoft.com/ could have learned a thing or two from here 😅

Nothing. Our use case is pretty basic, it does not need much. It uses FusionCache with Redis, backplane and eager refresh.

Closing Thoughts

You have done an amazing job here @jodydonetti! I cannot believe I did not discover FusionCache earlier. I have now become that guy who will tell every .NET developer I know about FusionCache 😅 I even held a short presentation about it to the rest of the developers in my company 😁

The support statement is also amazing. I was so prepared to donate a coffee or 10 after realizing how awesome FusionCache is.
