Initial post:

Old feedback regarding Avalonia UI

Hey.

I like how snappy and unique Shelly feels, so would love it to get even better.

Just pointing out some things I noticed. Not opening any issues since don't know if it's known already and will be fixed/improved.

This is not criticism, but my wish to help and contribute 🙂

1. Some rounding around the edges creates black spots:
2. Color contrast between background and foreground text is low at the moment (maybe on other pages too):
3. No easy way to delete the text in search box, like a "Clear all" icon button:
4. No indicator of search undergoing for the user to be sure something is happening (no screenshot from my side).
5. Not user friendly names (enum naming is used):

I'll be using Shelly a bit more to see what could be improved further 🙂

Haven't tried the CLI yet, if there are any thoughts I'll create a separate discussion about it.

Old Avalonia feedback regarding light mode

Noticed that light mode auto color scheme isn't working for light mode:

I don't know how I didn't notice this originally! I'd love to revisit this with the gtk theming.
