[1.21.11] Lunge Enchantment doesn't work

Mod loader - Fabric
Mod version - 3.0
I am using the latest version available -Yes

Describe the bug
The lunge enchantment doesn't lunge the player unless they are hitting something.

Expected behavior
Lunge should lunge the player whenever they use the spear's regular attack, like in vanilla

Its not particularly easy to implement it tho.

I found that if you try to hit a block, lunge will trigger like normal. hope this will help.
