Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]
- There is no current MIT forever free demo to share smooth + cubic voxels working with multiplayer. Voxel Engine should have a technology demonstrator to show case smooth + cubic hybrid voxel system to support current video game industry voxel innovations.
Describe the solution you'd like

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xHDANretVg Here is a demo of a project showcasing smooth + cubic voxels working. It does not have a way to replace it and nor does it have a demo to teach the creative community.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
- I have tried to contact multiple people and the creator of the above smooth + cubic hybrid voxel showcase to create a MIT collaborative demo to support the creative community yet these have not worked so far. I understand that the spirit of helping the creative community found here might be the best way to realize this smooth + cubic hybrid voxel MIT demo. I have tried to combine the BlockyGame and SmoothTerrain demos together. Yet I fear that my skills are not super amazing for a proper foundation compared to the greater talents found in this creative community. As in that could better help the wider creative community of game developers trying to use current innovative smooth + cubic hybrid voxels getting ready for the 10th console generation come late 2027. I understand that I should ask for help and try my best to support the creative community collaboratively instead of doing everything alone and with potentially prototype alpha code that has to be rewritten by the creative community anyway. I'd rather get it done properly the first time by the proper talent in the voxel dev creative community. Any leads or people interested in this smooth + cubic hybrid voxel MIT demo for Voxel Engine I would be greatly appreciative of and feel free to give any links or questions, all feedback is welcome.

Here are the links and showcases of smooth + cubic hybrid voxel systems that work but have no way of MIT replicating a demo for the creative community:

Also the BlockyGame + SmoothTerrain Demos I think have the highest chance to be combined to make this Smooth + Cubic hybrid voxel MIT demo. I have heard reports months ago in the GodotVoxel Discord of people already doing this as a working smooth + cubic voxel multiplayer hybrid game project. Yet even after asking various people who had these skills sets and working demos to help towards MIT demo of this innovative voxel technology MIT demo; the code was not shared or ways to replicate this to directly help the creative community to my knowledge. I figured to ask the creative community in 2026 and see what I can help with this time. Infiniminer (multiplayer cubic voxels) was MIT open source ( https://github.com/craftworkgames/infiniminer ) and it directly lead to Minecraft. The creative community needs a Smooth + Cubic hybrid voxel multiplayer MIT demo to empower the creative community for the next super generation of video games with the 10th video game console generation arriving late 2027.
