I'd like to propose AWMP as an open pattern that generalizes AP2's mandate model to arbitrary write operations:
Reuses Intent/Proposal/Approval/Execution Mandates as VCs.
Supports HITL (explicit user signing) and autonomous (pre-scoped Intent Mandates).
Optional extensions: Intent reasoning traces + multi-agent verification for extra safety.
Fully compatible: Mandates exchanged via A2A; tool access via MCP;
This could serve as a companion/extension to A2A
Full spec and examples here:

Details: spec/awmp-spec-v1.0.md
It's planned to be lightweight, testable (sample app outline included), and progressively enhanceable (e.g., on-chain revocation hooks).
